The Oakshire Brewing Watershed Market creates a focused, curated display encouraging commerce and delight. The design team worked closely with the Oakshire team to develop a vision for the space in order to evoke an emotional response similar to stopping at a general store for supplies on the way down to the river.

Taking cues from exposed wood framing found in boat houses, the shelving system developed for the market is straightforward, but flexible. A casual approach is taken for merchandising; objects you might find in a tackle shop or your grandparents’ attic are interspersed with Oakshire beers and merchandise. Designed as a simple expression of functional elements and materials with a strong sense of character, the Watershed Market has the right mix of Oregon nostalgia and outdoor discovery.
