By collaborating with the owner and contractor the team was able to create a space embracing the ad-hoc context of the surrounding neighborhood, while introducing materials and textures expressing a Pacific Northwest Taqueria. Found objects and materials were incorporated to compliment the casual ingenuity seen in the menu, while the use of warm, vibrant colors and textures help contribute to the lively atmosphere of this popular Eugene hang out.
In Corvallis
Tacovore Corvallis was an opportunity to expand on brand image. By using an existing split level building, the team was able to create the experience of a Pacific Northwest Taqueria uniquely on each level.
